主要科研领域与方向:

1. 基于昆虫-植物互作的动物营养利用调控机制研究

从鳞翅目昆虫-植物二元系统协同进化关系入手,整合基因组学、分子生物学、遗传学和生物化学等研究手段,系统研究调控昆虫进食和营养消化的分子机制,为提升有益昆虫(家蚕)营养利用效率和防控有害昆虫提供思路和分子靶标。比较分析昆虫与哺乳动物营养利用调控机制的异同点,开发调节动物饱腹感及体重增减等与人类健康紧密相关的高附加值生物制剂。

2. 基于基因工程的植物品种素材创制

在解析植物抗虫、抗逆等分子调控机制的基础上,通过CRISPR/Cas9基因编辑、过表达等手段对相应基因表达水平进行调控,在现行植物品种上定向创制更加优良的品种素材。

科学成就:

1. 建立了基于转基因RNAi和增量表达抗病毒蛋白的家蚕抗病分子育种技术体系,制作获得了对家蚕核型多角体病毒(BmNPV)具有增强抗性的转基因家蚕素材数个。

2. 作为主研人员,全程参与了家蚕全基因组基因芯片的研制。参加了西南大学主持的家蚕基因组计划及“十一五”、“十二五”家蚕“973”、“863”、“948”及国家自然科学基金重点项目。

3. 主持国家重点研发计划子课题、国家自然科学基金、重庆市自然科学基金、重庆市基础科学与前沿技术研究项目、中央高校科研业务费等各类科研项目20余项。近年来已在国内外高水平期刊发表论文30余篇,参与编写专著2部;获得专利授权10余项,其中第一专利权人7项。任教育部学位论文评审专家及全国研究生教育评估监测专家。
