研究领域

1. 蚕丝活性成分的研究与应用。利用蛋白质组学方法鉴定蚕丝中的活性成分;利用分子生物学的方法测定蚕丝成分的多种活性,阐释蚕丝的生物学特征特性;开发和利用蚕丝活性成分,制备个性化、多功能化的蚕丝产品,拓展蚕丝在生物医学材料和化妆品领域的应用。

2. 解析昆虫丝蛋白的起源与进化。通过代表性泌丝动物及其丝蛋白的系统解析,阐明丝蛋白序列结构特征与丝纤维材料理化特性的关系模型;回答丝蛋白起源与进化等基本科学问题;为改造和设计新型丝蛋白材料提供理论支撑。

3. 高性能生物聚合物材料的开发与应用。在解析昆虫丝蛋白各自优越的性能的基础上,合成具有特殊性能的分子模块,利用转基因和基因编辑技术生产特殊性能的蛋白质,并对其结构、力学性能、细胞亲和性等进行表征;评估其应用价值与经济效益。
