主要以木本植物模式物种杨树为研究材料,聚焦植物干细胞发育过程中植物信号因子的调控功能及作用机理,并未林木遗传育种提供理论基础。已主持国家自然科学基金-青年科学基金、参与国家重点研发计划、国家自然科学基金面上项目等课题多项。在New Phytologist、Plant Cell、Plant Physiology、Tree Physiology等国际著名学术刊物(中科院分区一区,Top期刊)发表论文多篇。
